The Story of how we got started

So this story actually starts off on not a great start!

One summer, Jeff and I took a trip to Iceland. While over there with our family, we got on the topic of kittens which led to a quick Google search of Maine Coons. Low and behold, many popped up and I was hooked.

Maine Coons are so beautiful and unique, so I decided to have one of my own. After searching on Facebook, I found a beautiful Black Silver as well as a Black Smoke kitten. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted, so I decided both would be mine! Six hundred dollars a piece seemed too good to be true so yep, two it was! The money was sent but unfortunately, the kittens would never come.

It was indeed a scam. One that I hope none of you fall for! I did not do the right things. I should have asked to FaceTime the breeder, I should have known that the price was too good to be true, and I definitely should not have paid through a non-reputable cash app. All things I hope you will now know by reading this.

As devastated as we were and out some money from our scammer, we still wanted to add a Maine Coon to our Cattery. So after better research and doing my due diligence, then came our very first Maine Coon, Everest! From the moment we took her home, we were obsessed. It wasn’t long before we added Brinx and decided that we needed these cute little fluffs around us. What sold us the most was their unique personalities. We have cats that love water, can fetch and even walk on a leash. Affectionate yet strong willed, Maine Coons are unlike any cat we have had and we’ve had some amazing cats in the past. They are excellent with kids and even will love on dogs! Now we want to share the cats we fell in love with, with you!
